Youth organisation POTENTIAL is offering young people aged 11-14 the opportunity to win a starting grant to create an enterprise which benefits their community.

The competition is open to individuals or for groups of up to 5 young people, giving them the opportunity to enhance the lives of young people in their community by gaining funding for their project through pitching for one of five pots of £200 ‘starting capital’.

Ten projects will be shortlisted from the applications by the Potential Organisation Youth Advisory Board and the final five will be chosen by a board of prestigious judges from the fields of politics, football, acting and the Police.

The winners will be asked to report back on their project in a 2 page report, setting out what they achieved using this £200 and be visited by the judges. The best project will be awarded tickets to a sporting event of their choice, at a glamorous awards ceremony in London.
